Our 4H-FFA-Young Eagles-Career Day in Belle Glade on January 5th and 6th will be a combined meeting with Florida Cub Flyers, (FCF). It will be an overnight function with a Wagyu Beef Ranch tour included as an enticement for participation flying the kids. Belle Glade is a perfect place for Antique biplanes as it is an airport dominated by Air Tractor spray planes. The owners of the spray operations cut their teeth flying Stearmans. We flew 72 kids last year and had a Sugar/Citrus Tour as part of the program. We'll have our custom Stearman and Husky or Super Cub there hopping rides. This year we'll be awarding an $8500 private pilot scholarship as part of this function. It is a main intent of the group to pay forward the blessing of flight we've all enjoyed.
